Juno it can’t be bad …
Coming to the Blue Room on Thursday, Aug. 16, is Juno (pictured). The DeSoto Records recording act hails from Seattle and combines moody sonic landscapes with Hüsker Dü-type punk. The band is middle billed to Ted Leo Pharmacy. Fronted by Washington D.C. native Ted Leo, the Pharmacy also features ex-members of The Make-Up, The Secret Stars and The Warmers. The band’s latest release is The Tyranny of Distance, on Lookout! Records. Opening the Blue Room show is Royal Crown. It all starts at 10 p.m. Admission is only $6.
