Inner in Chico

Former member of Furslide and one time guitarist and songwriter for Natalie Merchant, Jennifer Turner brings her band Inner (l-r: drummer Sam Omeechevarria, guitarist/vocalist Jennifer Turner, and keyboardist/vocalist/ bassist Erica Quitzow) and its folkie, toy-techno sounds to two separate locations in Chico. At noon, Inner plays for free on the Chico State campus, in the Free Speech Area. Then at 9:30 p.m., the band plays an expanded show at Chico’s latest hotspot The Red Room. Opening will be Sacramento-via-Louisiana band Estereo! Call for cover charge. 21 and over only. The Red Room, 126 West Second St. (530) 345-3223.
