Information as life …
Memory Fault is an exhibition of new works on paper by CSUC student-artist Aaron Cuthbertson. Cuthbertson’s artwork reflects his interest in both science and art. “The hard line between the inanimate and animate has been blurred,” writes the artist. “We see life increasingly in terms of data. If life is information, information can also be seen, more and more, as life.” Pictured is presumably an untitled work from the show. Opens Monday, Aug. 20, in the Humanities Center in Trinity Hall 100, on the CSUC campus. Runs through Friday, Sept. 7. An artist’s reception is held 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 30. Center hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., M-F. More information: Thomasin Saxe, 898-4642.
