Dancers reenact a ceremonial story (pictured) during an evening of ritual, symbolism and myth, as part of Native Trails: Native American Song & Dance, performed at Laxson Auditorium and presented by Chico Performances. Featuring acclaimed Native American dancer Derek "Suwaima" Davis and flutist Robert "Tree" Cody, the show will portray the evolution of the individual cultures of various indigenous tribes—from the Aztecs to the Navajos—through song and dance.
