I had to brake for you on Oak Park Drive this morning. You came out of the orchard on my left, riding a large touring motorcycle. We got to Ninth Street, and you made an unsafe pass between two vehicles. I knew that if you wrecked you would have a bad case of road rash, if you survived. I saw you weren’t wearing appropriate motorcycle-riding gear. Please, please, leave your ego at home. Wear protective clothing in addition to your helmet, leave five minutes earlier in the morning, take the appropriate road and ride safely. I ride too, and the people who wave to me from their bikes are like family to me. I don’t want to see any of us get hurt, and I want the public to see responsible riding from all, because your riding conduct reflects on all of us. Please be safe, and keep the rubber side down.
