As of January, the median price of homes listed for sale in Chico was $339,500, or $213 per square foot. Meanwhile, the median value of homes in Chico clocks in at $317,100, according to Zillow.com. That’s $100,000 more than the median six years ago—near the bottom point of the real estate fallout from the Great Recession.
