PV High golfer to compete against world’s top young players

Local golf wunderkind Noah Norton will tee off against some of the game’s greatest young golfers later this month in Graniteville, S.C.
Norton (pictured), a junior at Pleasant Valley High School, is one of 54 players from 13 countries invited to the 2016 Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club April 21-23. There he will compete against luminaries like Wocheng Ye, who was the youngest golfer ever to qualify for a European tournament at age 12, and 16-year-old Latin American amateur champion Paul Chaplet.
In 2013, at the age of 14, Norton became the youngest person ever to win the annual Chico City Championship.
