Local felon caught with drugs, weapons
On May 21, Seth Michael Bertolini, 44, of Chico, was sentenced to six years and five months in federal prison for drug trafficking and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to a press release from the office of U.S. Attorney Benjamin Wagner, Bertolini was pulled over by Chico police last June “for driving with his car’s radio system playing loudly.”
Bertolini emerged from his vehicle “animated and agitated” and then ran away. He was caught in possession of heroin and a .32-caliber revolver. A search of his home turned up more heroin, trafficking paraphernalia and a semi-automatic pistol.
