Guilty plea in honey oil case
Paradise man guilty of manufacturing butane honey oil

On Tuesday, Aug. 11, Paradise resident Donald Heuer (pictured) pleaded guilty to manufacturing butane honey oil stemming from the discovery of a large-scale processing operation on his Bennett Road property.
On June 21, Paradise police officers responded to calls of the 34-year-old Heuer yelling and breaking items in a house. During their search, the police discovered a large amount of marijuana and processing equipment. After a full search of the property, the Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force and Butte County Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Unit uncovered 210 pounds of marijuana bud/shake, 107 pounds of drying marijuana, 2.75 pounds of butane honey oil, and a large amount of butane honey oil manufacturing and packaging equipment (butane tanks, vacuum ovens, etc.).
Heuer is scheduled to return to court on Sept. 2 for sentencing.
