In a little over a week (depending on when you actually read this), Pennsylvania-based bluegrass legends Bob Paisley and the Southern Grass hit Moxie’s Café and Gallery, located at 128 Broadway in downtown Chico. Leader Bob Paisley (seated, right) combines fine vocals with strong rhythm guitar work, and his professional recording credits span four decades. The group is described as delivering "distinctive, hard-driving bluegrass." Tickets are $10 in advance; $12 night of the show. More information: (530) 345-0601.
