Thousands head to the Gateway Science Museum’s grand opening
Gateway Science Museum’s grand opening this past weekend appeared to be the to-do event with community members. Chico State reported that close to 3,000 people headed to the museum over its first two days open to the public.
The museum is now open Wednesday-Friday, from noon to 5 p.m., and on weekends, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Current exhibits include the popular “Backyard Monsters,” giant-sized robotic insects designed to give an interactive experience.
