The last day to register is fast approaching
This election season has been particularly exciting and, come November, promises to bring people out of the woodwork to the polls in record numbers … but not if the newly inspired don’t register to vote!
Monday (Oct. 6) is the last day to register if you want to receive a sample ballot; the final deadline is Oct. 20. Cards can be obtained at the post office, DMV, library, City Clerk’s Office or Butte County Elections Office. Also, the elections portion of the county clerk-recorder’s Web site (http://clerk-recorder.buttecounty.net) offers sample ballots.
