Butte County releases draft EIR on the county’s draft general plan
Butte County residents curious about the environmental impacts associated with the county’s preliminary general-plan document can check them out starting today (April 8).
The county has released the Draft Program Environmental Impact Report on the Draft Butte County General Plan 2030 for a 60-day review period. The public is invited to weigh in on the adequacy of the report.
In addition to being available on the county’s Web site, www.buttegeneralplan.net, the document also will be stationed at each branch of the Butte County Library.
Public comment will be sought during a Planning Commission meeting on April 22 at the Board of Supervisors chambers.
