An evening of art and politics is in store when new-school folkie and singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco (pictured) hits the stage at the Paradise Performing Arts Center, 777 Nunneley Road, in Paradise. Quite apart from her frank song lyrics, DiFranco has formed the Righteous Babe Foundation, which supports grassroots cultural and political organizations. Also on the bill is folk star Utah Phillips, who will be performing Old West-influenced tunes. Presented by North Valley Productions.
