CN&R celebrates those who help feed us
How fortunate are we to live literally a few miles from where our food is grown? Sure, not everything we eat comes out of our proverbial backyard. But we do have access to some of the freshest produce in the country. We're spoiled, and it sure is great. And to celebrate the folks who toil behind the scenes to grow all of this delicious food fare, the CN&R is presenting our third annual farm-to-table issue. This year, we talked to some local orchardists and a beekeeper about their operations and the challenges they face and a local scientist charged with aiding them in their endeavors. Next time you sit down to grub, raise a glass to them. Cheers!
