Enviros’ spring break
Northern California college students have hit the rails—in concept, anyway—to show their support for a high-speed train.
Fifty members from student chapters of CALPIRG, the California Public Interest Research Group, headed out Monday (March 24) by car and bike along the future rail route: Bay Area to Sacramento; south through Stockton, Fresno and Bakersfield to Los Angeles; southeasterly to Anaheim, then up to Riverside before winding up in San Diego.
