Enloe Stroke Program honored

The American Heart Association has recognized Enloe Medical Center for its treatment of stroke patients.

Enloe will be presented the Get With the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award at the International Stroke Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii, in February, according to an Enloe Medical Center press release. The Get With the Guidelines program helps medical staff develop and implement acute- and secondary-prevention guideline processes to improve patient treatment and outcomes.

“Enloe is dedicated to making our care for stroke patients among the best in the country,” said Michael O’Brien, director of the Enloe Stroke Program. “This recognition demonstrates that we are on the right track, and we’re very proud of our team.”
