Elegant simplicity …

The designer herself, Christa Seybold-Haynes (pictured), models her latest fashions during the reception for a new show, with photographer Renee Suzanne Muir, Colors of Chico. Seybold-Haynes, a native of Austria, draws from diverse world cultures for the creation of her garments, the principle of her aesthetic being “elegant simplicity.” Photographer Muir hails originally from Seattle, Wash., and her photos demonstrate her eye for colors and composition, drawing on scenes from everyday life. Seybold-Haynes’ husband, jazz saxophonist Charles Haynes, will lead his band through a great set during the reception.
