Whatever the method, it smells and tastes fantastic.

A confession: I have not eaten a single chocolate Santa Claus since I was a small child, although they always seemed to fill my stocking. As one foil-wrapped candy after another molded away in my dresser drawer, it became clear that unless the chocolate was paired with caramel, peanut butter, crispy rice or some other tasty adjunct, it would never capture my interest.

And yet even I found myself craving another square of Revive Organics Medicinal Dark Chocolate ($20 a bar) after devouring my first dose. An imported French chocolate made with Revive Organics’ commitment to organic ingredients and processes, the Medicinal Dark Chocolate contains a concentrated cannabis extract derived using a cold water hash extraction method that, according to their website, ensures a uniform amount of THC in every bite.

Whatever the method, it smells and tastes fantastic. The deep cocoa aromas, rich flavors and velvety textures reflect the organic ingredients and California sun-grown, fair-trade certified quality. The bar is divided into three rows of 15 squares, with each square containing roughly 15 mg of THC. It didn’t take long to kick in, and I first started feeling warm and fuzzy after about 20 minutes.

Revive Organics Medicinal Dark Chocolate can be purchased individually or as part of the Restore to Life Bundle, a package that also includes the Revive Organics Harlequin Red Wine and the Revive Organics Medicinal Salve. It’s a unique and decadent way to pamper your medical cannabis patient wife, mother or fun aunt.
