A few “life hacks” to help you stay hydrated
Staying hydrated is one of the simplest and most effective—but easily overlooked—ways to keep your body healthy, and is especially important during hot summer months. For those who often forget to monitor their daily water intake, Elle magazine’s online site (www.elle.com) recently posted “9 water-drinking hacks to make getting hydrated way more fun.” Some of these include finding a “water buddy,” playing drinking games with water, and adding splashes of juice or chunks of fruit for flavoring. It also encourages investing in your own water bottle, and using a Sharpie to mark minimums of how much should be gone by certain times. Perhaps simplest of all, the site suggests drinking through a straw.
