District election results

Republican U.S. Rep. Doug LaMalfa (53 percent) will run against Democratic candidate Heidi Hall (30 percent) in the fall election for 1st Representative District. In the race for 3rd District State Assembly, Republican attorney James Gallagher (43 percent) will face off in the fall against veteran Democratic candidate and attorney Jim Reed (35 percent). Incumbent 4th District Sen. Republican Jim Nielsen (63 percent) and Democratic challenger CJ Jawahar (37 percent) will face off again in November and Republican incumbent Brian Dahle (69 percent) will go at it again in the fall for the 1st District State Assembly seat against Democrat Brigham Smith (31 percent).
