Del Norte revamps

Del Norte Clinics Inc., a network of community-based, federally qualified health and dental centers focused on serving low-income populations via its locations around the North State, recently changed its name to Ampla Health, according to a press release.

In early April, the nonprofit health-care system switched over to its new name as part of a system-wide initiative to improve the quality of its centers through a series of projects, including new medical facilities in Yuba and Hamilton cities. Health centers in Olivehurst and Chico have also been remodeled, and all employees have undergone customer-service training.

Ampla Health family-health centers are located in Chico, Orland, Oroville, Richvale, Hamilton City, Gridley and other nearby cities. Nearby dental centers are located in Chico, Orland and Oroville.
