Death and life …
Latin American influenced works in paint and ink created by Charles Barth are displayed as Celebrating Day of the Dead, All Saints Day, now through Dec. 31, at James Snidle Fine Arts and Appraisals, 254 East Fourth St., in downtown Chico. Pictured is “El Matrimonio," a mixed media piece completed by Barth in 2001, seems to suggest both life and death within its vibrant symbols.
