EPA features an online tool for calculating household emissions
Curious how big a carbon footprint your household makes? The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has an online tool to help you figure that out. It’s called the Household Emissions Calculator, accessible via the EPA’s site.

In the Quick Finder, click on GHG Calculator
You’ll need your utility bills and about 10 minutes. When you’re through, you’ll learn the amount of greenhouse gases being emitted from your home, then see suggestions for easy reductions to make—a worthwhile investment of time and effort!
