Americans still not familiar with health-insurance exchanges
A Gallup poll released this week shows that two thirds of uninsured Americans plan to sign up for health insurance by the Jan. 1, 2014, deadline rather than pay fines as mandated by the Affordable Care Act. However, the percentage of Americans—both uninsured and insured—who are familiar with the health-insurance exchanges (through which coverage is purchased) is still very low.
