Chico State gets green honors

If anyone knows how “eco-enlightened” a school is, it would be the Sierra Club. According to the club’s annual list of “Cool Schools” (a ranking of the most eco-enlightened U.S. universities), Chico State University ranks 34th. It’s the only campus in the CSU system to make the 135-school list. The University of Colorado–Boulder took first place.

In addition to that honor, which is printed in the September-October issue of Sierra magazine, Chico State also was featured recently in the Daily Green’s list of “12 of the Greenest College Cafeterias.”
