Here’s a trick for you Halloween trick-or-treaters: take your candy to the dentist and turn those treats into cash! Bowling Family Dentistry in Gridley is hosting a Halloween Candy Buy Back event, where they will pay $2 per pound of candy that kids bring in. In an effort to fight tooth decay—as well as other effects of excess sugar consumption such as hyperactivity and weight gain—dentists Bruce and Bob Bowling are handing out cash for candy (plus a free toothbrush) Tuesday-Thursday, Nov. 1-3, at their offices at 1008 Sycamore St., in Gridley.
