Butte not bad for debt

Apparently, Butte County borrowers are doing pretty well in the scheme of things. That’s according to SmartAsset, a financial technology company, which recently released its second annual study on American debt in relation to their income. The study rates counties across America and breaks them down by state. Butte County is one of the best in California. The table below shows the top 10 counties in California based on overall debt, with percentage of debt (to income) in three main categories.
