Burger Love revisited …

If you were around Chico in the late ‘70s, you might vaguely recall a local radio hit called “Burger Love.” The humorous pæan to blackened cow flesh was written and performed by Peter Berkow & Friends. Now Berkow’s back, with a new pack of friends, a new CD and a live gig at Duffy’s Tavern, 337 Main St. Through the ‘90s to the present, Berkow has been shooting videos dealing with famous writers for educational TV, and recently videoed slide guitarist Roy Rogers‘ two-night stand at the Sierra-Nevada Big Room for a proposed PBS special.
