Billboard rebirth
Local advertising company switches to recyclable posters
Chico-based Stott Outdoor Advertising has been around for decades (since 1949 to be exact), but isn’t too old to learn new tricks—even green ones.
SOA specializes in billboards and other poster ads. And starting next month, the company’s entire inventory of posters will be printed on 100 percent recyclable paper.
In addition to being more environmentally friendly, SOA says the posters look better; the single-sheet product has no seams and the colors are more vibrant. It doesn’t use glue, either. Right on!
