Banging their knuckles …

Kill Rock Stars recording artists and Olympia, WA.-based band The Bangs tear through the “Wood Room” at The Blue Room, 139 West First St. (above Collier Hardware), Monday, May 21, at 9 p.m. The band’s new disc is called Tiger Beat, and CN&R Arts Editor Chris Baldwin describes it as “hard-edged bubble pop mixed with distilled Kentucky spirits and ‘80s pogo verve.” Also appearing will be Lil’ Suicide Bunny and Chico’s own terrific trio Cowboy. Admission is “cheap.”
