’ave an avocado!
The fleshy treat is good for you
Avocados not only taste great, they’re also good for you. They contain monounsaturated fat and vitamin E, which both promote healthy skin. Monounsaturated fat also lowers LDL cholesterol, which is bad for you, and raises HDL cholesterol, which is good for you. Avocados have a high fiber content—both soluble and insoluble. Soluble fiber controls your appetite, while insoluble fiber cleans your bowels. Avocados also contain B vitamins (good for your metabolism) and vitamin K (helps youngsters’ bones grow and maintains bone density in older folks).
