A school year begins

New clothes, new backpacks, new haircuts—Chico’s kids are back in school, eager to learn, socialize and play.

Our Back to School package this year contains three stories focusing on significant issues in Chico’s schools: the cooperative agreement that saved high-school sports; the new Wildflower Open Classroom charter school; and the decline in opportunities for children to exercise between classes.
