Welcome back, Kuyper

First Rob Blair, now Kris Kuyper—Chico’s TV newsroom is clearly experiencing cyclical weather patterns. Kuyper (pictured), who left the North State for Alaska in 2003, returned Monday (June 11) as meteorologist for nightly newscasts on KHSL, KNVN and CW 10. Current weatherman Dave Vanore moves to weekends and select weeknight slots; the recently relocated Blair remains on the morning show.

The Action News team still has a spot to fill. Anchor/ reporter/weatherwoman Mary Lee has made the jump to Austin, Texas, on the heels of morning anchor Ashley Coleman’s move to Jacksonville, Fla.
